Dodgy diagnosis...

My computer surgeon came by today, and as his eyebrows formed an involuntary frown, I sensed it was not going to be good news. After some further umming and aarring, his preliminaly verdict for my beloved laptop was "not much hope of resuscitating this one".

Tonight my laptop is being taken apart in a last effort to save what might be savable. Keep your fingers crossed there is some life to be found...

This borrowed computer will take a road trip tomorrow with the man in the house. That means NO computer at all in the house! Miaou!
