Iron lady craving not so heavy metal...

(A word of warning: If you cringe at bad word puns, this may be a blog entry to avoid...)

No, never been much of an AC-DC admirerer. Nor a very keen Maggie Thatcher fan. The headline refers to my newly found fondness for decorative metal items. The rusty metal wire holding the apple crate together, the bowl with its three sensually curved feet, the plate which - despite its obvious coldness - somehow has found its way into my heart.

"But", I hear you say, "but you don't seem to be able to do metal on its own. You always soften the hard and cold with a living plant, or some fruit or something. And the metal you choose is usually thin and with shapely shapes, is it not? You are still not very hard core, as iron ladies go, are you, Helena?"

No, I suppose I am still a far cry from humming Metallica hits. I guess a screechy rock ballad is as close as I will ever get... And perhaps there is a certain iron-y in the fact that I chose strawberries to put in the bowl here. After all, they are rich in iron, I hear...

(Ps. Told you the word play would be bad. Don't say I did not warn you.)
