Less is NOT more...

... at least not when it comes to spreading colour to the world...

... in the "in-between time"...

... when the world seems brown and grey, awaiting the leaves to turn a fiery orange...

HUGELY inspired by Charlotte and her stunning blog Garden Flow, I did cartwheels of joy when I stumbled upon some stemmed decoration cabbage, having recently seen Charlotte use similar ones in a beautiful autumn arrangement. As the man in the house had just harvested one of our pumpkins (prematurely on purpose, as he wants the other ones to grow competitively Halloween-y in the next few weeks...), and together with a moss wreath I made a few months ago (which fit nicely on top of the zinc bucket), I ventured into the garden to - for the umpteenth time - move a few things around...

With the neighbour's walnut tree and bamboo in the background, this little colour fiesta was laid out on a day when the weather gods managed to control their - forgive me - bladders for a few hours...

May your day be spent doing cartwheels of joy, whether for cabbage reasons or any other!
