Weather for heather...

The Tuesday market came to town...

... and with it came some pretty heather...

... which is just what our autumnal garden needed...

... to feel a little more colourful, a little more cheerful...

Home-grown cherry tomatoes, a favourite shawl from many moons ago, a hanging lantern and a basket from Turkey (whose shape I have always found so pretty and hug-friendly), the grapes slowly ripening above my head... yes, this is definitely a place where I can greet autumn...
