Blackcurrant blues...



                                    ... is the tune we will be humming for many weeks to come... 
The other day the man in the house made jam with some of the crop. Today I had a go at making juice, or cordial, with some of the remaining currants. But I am not fussy... I don't need the credit for it... No, not me. I happily call it by the name of he who nurtured the currants so lovingly. Am I really that generous, or am I simply such a sucker for alliteration that I use his name here for literary effect...? Now, there is a question to ponder...
